PDF privacy
Private PDF tools should not need uploads.
Why everyday PDF jobs can run in the browser, and where browser tools still need honest limits.
The basic job is local
Most everyday PDF work is not a collaboration problem. Merging files, deleting pages, rotating scans, and adding simple marks can happen on the device that already has the file.
Privacy should be the default
A local tool avoids the awkward upload step for invoices, forms, scans, IDs, contracts, school documents, and internal notes. The user still gets the useful output, without sending the source document to another server.
Do not overclaim
Browser-only does not mean every PDF feature is solved. Redaction, OCR, compression, password tools, and text editing need stricter engines and tests before they deserve a public promise.
Next step
Use the related tool first, then keep the article as a reference for the limits and tradeoffs behind the workflow.
